Gnost

May 25, 2015 by Lis Blake Leave a Comment

THE MEANING OF GNOST, GNOSTIC AND GNOSTISM.GNOST

As I will be referring to ‘gnost’ in some of the information that will be posted on this site I feel that it would be best to give a short explanation of what it means. So here goes!

These words ‘gnost’, ‘gnosticism’ and ‘gnostic’ come from some 52 ancients texts which are called the ‘Gnostic Gospels’ and were written somewhere between the 2nd to the 4th century AD. The word ‘gnostic’ comes from the Greek word ‘gnosis’ which means ‘knowledge’ and is used in Greek philosophy in a manner that ‘enlightenment’ and ‘insight’ are used in English.

There is a huge amount of information regarding the history of this ‘movement’ and I am going to keep to what is relevant.

Gnosticism is a philosophical and religious movement  which commenced in pre-Christian times and it is thought that it may have had it’s source in the Jewish community of Alexandria, and later was taken on by some Christian groups in Judea and Galilee. It is not an intellectual rational knowledge such as science and mathematics and would be best described as involving the experiential knowledge of God and of the divine and spiritual nature within us.

This movement was almost wiped out in the 5th Century AD due to the efforts of the Catholic heresy hunters and the Roman Army. Due to the discovery of an ancient Gnostic library at Nag Hammadai, Egypt in the 1940’s plus the find of the Gnostic Gospel of Judas also in Egypt in the 1970’s, interest has been gained recently in Gnosticism.

Now to some helpful ‘now’ information – I trust! Tobias (son of Tobit in the Old Testament) channelled by Geoffrey Hoppe from Crimson Circle has covered a more up to date explanation of the word ‘gnost’ and how it can be used. I will add a section and more can be found by using Google and looking for ‘gnost and Crimson Circle’. See exact details below.

Tobias has explained ‘………..gnost as being the “solution”. Gnost is the creative flow. Gnost is an energy that has not been used in eons of time, and as gnost comes in, it bridges the divine and the human, and as a creator you allow gnost to flow in. Instead of being bound and restricted by problems and challenges, you simply allow gnost to come in to present the clear and open solution’. That sounds great to me.

For those who would like more information regarding what Tobias has explained (at length) about gnost and particularly how we lost it back in the time of Atlantis – you can find it at:

Reincarnation

REINCARNATION (AND PAST LIVES).Man-in-Light-Tunnel

I have put off writing this article for the reason that after having done some further study to compliment what I felt I already knew about the subject – I realised very quickly there are two very clear view-points – one section of the world believing in reincarnation (and past lives) and the other not. And I might add here that is perfectly okay. Having sat with this for a week I’m going to give the information as simply as I can (I’ll add here it’s a very involved topic) and leave it up to the reader to work out with Discernment what ‘works for them’.

One thing is apparent and that is reincarnation is becoming a more widely believed concept throughout the world with one in five people in the United States believing in it. Elsewhere it depends predominantly on religion and the beliefs of each one. It is obvious also with the media becoming more interested in such things as ‘past lives’, people are becoming more aware that reincarnation could exist.

So what is reincarnation? The literal meaning is ‘to be made flesh again’. It is when a part of us called the ‘soul’ leaves the body upon death – taking with it the remembrances of it’s experiences, plus learnings in this life time. It then exists somewhere else other than earth and when appropriate it takes all those experiences and learnings with all the experiences and knowledge from other life times returning back to earth in another body.

From where did reincarnation originate? Some say it originated in Southern India and that people as far back as 2,000 to 3,000 years ago were discussing the concept. Within India the idea of reincarnation could have been even older. It is known that the Greek philosopher Plato referred to it in his writings and Pythagoras even said he could remember his past lives.

Nowadays Hinduism is one of the major religions which follows this belief in reincarnation whereas Buddhists – by contrast see the cycle of life in a different way. They see life more as an endless cycle in which we are all part of a universal and all-encompassing energy. Although having said this, Buddha is thought to have described his many incarnations in his teachings.

As far as the Christian fraternity is concerned there are many early well known Church fathers who believed in the doctrine of reincarnation such as St. Augustine and St. Gregory of Nyssa.

Things started to change from 250 A.D. to 553 A.D. due to the beliefs of Origen of Alexandria – a theologian and believer of reincarnation who seemingly helped cause the debates and controversies that occurred around his teachings culminating in 553 A.D. (some 70 years after he died – as a martyr) at the Second Council of Constantinople where his doctrines were condemned. The political (and religious) ramifications that followed this can be explored and argued. It appears to be one of those things that is best left to the individual to find out for themselves and make up their own mind – with Discernment. There will be some explanation of how we can use ‘Discernment!’ added to Articles – soon!

As with ‘reincarnation’ the subject of ‘past lives’ can be observed from two sides – from the view point of believers and from those more of the scientific ‘bent’ – most of whom are sceptics. Dr. Ian Stevenson is well known for his scientific approach and for his life-work of some 30 years exploring this subject.

He documented (not through hypnosis which isn’t scientifically accepted) the spontaneous past life memories of children. He methodically recorded each child’s statements of a previous life identifying the deceased person the child remembered being. He then verified the facts of the deceased person’s life that matched the child’s memory. Through his research it has been found that sometimes certain wounds and scars will match the deceased which have been verified by medical records.

On the other hand – on a more ‘alternative’ note Dolores Cannon has had over 40 years experience in regressive hypnotherapy and has published over 17 books on the subject. She found a new hypnosis technique wherein she was able to connect with what she called ‘the greatest force there is, and it’s a source of knowledge. I found the way to have it come through every single person that I work with, and I’ve worked with thousands of people’.

Some of her books include information about: life on other planets; energy healing; famous people such as Jesus and Nostradamus; life in the Universe; the history of Atlantis and much more. The books from my viewpoint make fascinating reading and as she says ‘each book has the tendency to ‘bend the reader’s mind like a pretzel.’ ‘The Convoluted Universe’ series explains the Energy Shift that is going on with Earth now. You may like to ‘Google’ Dolores and find out more information about her and her work.

I will leave it up to you to figure out whether you feel there is such a thing ‘as past lives’.

And a question to finish with! If you believe and feel there is such a thing as ‘past lives’ does this mean that ‘reincarnation’ is real? I’ll leave this up to the reader and maybe you might like to make a comment.

Harmonic Convergence

May 30, 2015 by Lis Blake Leave a Comment

WHAT IS THE HARMONIC CONVERGENCE?two-worlds

The Harmonic Convergence was an occurrence that heralded the start of a number of huge changes on an energy level for Earth and for those who lived on her at that time.

It was the name given to the world’s first globally synchronised meditation events which occurred from 16th August to 17th August, 1987. It was predicted by Tony Shearer in his book ‘Lord of the Dawn’ (1971) and the organiser of the event was Jose Arguelles. The latter was well versed in the significance of Maya celendrics, but the dates themselves apparently did not come from Maya cosmology, but from Tony Shearer’s reconstructed Aztec prophecies.

Back in 1987 I was still in Melbourne endeavouring to work out a relationship that meant a lot to me. I now see with hindsight (which is easy) that I was at a cross-roads and the change in energies around that time was pushing me to make a choice. It meant making up my mind – ‘would I stay in a relationship that wasn’t working or do something different?’ I chose to acknowledge ‘the pull’ towards spirituality and what that entailed and eventually moved to Noosa.

Many planetary changes occurred after 1987 with such events on a political level as the fall of the Berlin Wall; Brazil turned from dictatorship to a democracy; Nelson Mandela after 27 years in prison was released and the Apartheid system in South Africa fell apart, and the political situation in Russia totally changed. Who would have guessed in the early 1980’s that any of these extraordinary things would have happened?

The Harmonic Convergence and the change of energies at the time presented an energetic doorway for humanity to make new choices. It is explained by Kyron channelled by Lee Carroll (who has given talks to the United Nations on a number of occasions) that those on a higher level were given a choice. They were asked if they wanted to be involved in turning around the energy that was present after 1945 – the ‘war energy’ that was lingering from the two World Wars. The answer was ‘yes’. The following is an extract from this channel and to read the balance please see details at the bottom of this article:

‘The big picture, as you have seen it and it has been described over these last years, involved the Harmonic Convergence in 1987. This has come to be known as the 11:11, a time of great shift and potential change. It was a time of agreement with other parts of yourselves on the other side of the veil – a planning session. All humanity that had been here and was going to come here was involved in this shift, not just those on the planet at the time. Therefore, it was a quantum decision and the pieces and parts of all of you, most of who were not actually on the planet, were polled. And this polled group decided to shift. And if that shifting process was going to work for you, new types of energy would have to be delivered to this planet… a lineage of activities and deliveries would have to occur in a certain order for other physical and non-physical attributes of Earth to be activated. It’s these “other things” I wanted to tell you about. Every single thing I’m going to mention now I have mentioned in the past, but I have never put them together like this and it’s time you heard it’.

We have experienced many more ‘energetic doorways’ to awaken and evolve since 1987 such as the Harmonic Concordance; the Venus Transit; the Paradise Matrix; 11:11 and 12:12. With these shifts in energies came a number of changes to the magnetic grids of the Earth which have helped to change our DNA and much more within us. We are being given the knowledge to work with our cells (and DNA) and change our biology and our bodies.

We are now in the exciting position of being able to use these shifts in energy in conjunction with the knowledge we’re being given to help us ‘awaken’ even more, plus put the information we are learning to use. How we experience our ‘future’ reality gets back to how prepared and ready we are to create our ‘new world’. We are being given the knowledge and the skills to do so and now it’s up to us.

Depression and Spiritual Awakening

DEPRESSION AND SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.Woman-holding-head

A question I was asked recently is ‘are more people experiencing depression at the present time?’ And from what I’ve noticed the answer is yes.

With the advent of the new spiritual energies in 2002 things have changed. And the reason is that as we raise our vibration (trying to keep up with Earth’s rise in energies) our own energy field increases. The result is that unless we have ‘cleared’ such things as limiting beliefs, fears etc., and are handling the new energies that have been affecting the planet easily, the higher energy levels squeezes our energy and makes us very aware of it’s low vibration. This feels like compression from being in a vice – magnifying symptoms and is why more people might feel hopeless, useless and stuck – all symptoms of depression. And this situation will continue to be prevalent as we all go through these changes.

As the two levels of vibrational energy are unable to live together – we have a choice to make. When we are aware of what is happening on a ‘higher level’ or actually on any level – we can start to understand that the actual energies that are uncomfortable are helping us to let go of what isn’t working for us. So in fact this is an opportunity from which to learn and move forward.

If this is happening to you – ask for help as it is alway best to get medical help first before you explore other techniques to find the way through depression.

There are techniques which are mentioned in Self Mastery Keys which can help those who wish to use other means other than medication and there has been much success with clients turning depression around when learning the skills I give them – refer to Testimonials.

Gratitude and Appreciation

May 30, 2015 by Lis Blake Leave a Comment

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION.APPRECIATION USE YES

For me there is definitely a difference between gratitude and appreciation and the emotional energies that are contained in each mental state.

‘Gratitude’ is often tied in with having met a challenge and being thankful for having moved through to the other side – finally! There can be a ‘struggle’ element to the feeling and though it is an energy coming from a high vibration, it is not as high as that when we’re in ‘appreciation’.

‘Appreciation’ is a lighter (literally) vibration and staying in this energy also helps in attracting and creating what we want. When we’re in this energy we will stay out of attracting such things as criticism and even manage to stay out of noticing things coming from a dense energy. If we notice them – we draw them to us. What we focus on (and particularly judge) – we create.

Appreciation is more contained within oneself and is tied in with the connection that we have with ‘all that is’ – in that we appreciate our connection to the beauty around us – maybe our appreciation of nature for example. It’s a ‘feel good’ energy about something that really is obvious within us on a feeling level, whereas gratitude is more a ‘thank you’ energy – more for something that’s happened outside of us. For me appreciation also follows when ‘something’ that maybe I’ve wanted happens out of the blue and I truly feel appreciation for this as I’m not consciously aware of having ‘made’ it occur.

It is always a suggestion of mine to clients that they do an ‘appreciation list’ every night as they go to sleep – going over their day and ticking off all the things they can appreciate that have occurred during that day.

Also it’s great to do the same again as we wake up – to set the day up, because as we come out of sleep, we pass out of the Delta state and through Theta – a ‘state of mind’ where we’re more attuned to being able to draw towards us what we’re wanting to create.

By being aware, being in gratitude and appreciation and expressing both for the things we experience – we raise our vibration which makes our lives flow easily and joyfully.

Some of the ways we could use to stay in ‘appreciation’ are:

* Stay out of judgment and criticism of ourselves and of others.

* Be more aware of what we are experiencing and how we feel. Be aware of what’s around us. You could refer to Mindfulness in Self Mastery Keys regarding how to be more in the ‘NOW’.

* Use Louise Hays’ mirror techniques – saying in the morning that I ‘love and appreciate myself’ and…..

* Let go of anything that the mind might bring up after saying this affirmation to ourselves.

* Learn other ways to love and ‘nurture’ ourselves.

* Say ‘I appreciate’ more – in our minds – or to others.

* And the obvious one – focus on what we have in our lives – and stay out of focusing on the opposite.
